When Life Hands You Lemons…

When life hands you lemons... well, we really like lemons, so we're good with it. That said, we got the call early this month: Hubby's mom can no longer live alone. The situation digressed quickly, and what started out as a 2-3 month transition became, almost overnight, a 2-3 week transition. When You Miss Someone You’ve Never Met…

I was thinking about Alan Rickman this week. Why? I don't know. Maybe I'm just feeling a bit nostalgic having said goodbye to my sister. We also have nectarines, apricots, and peaches this time of year, and we're anxiously awaiting fall when we get to pick pomegranates and apples, followed by oranges, tangerines, lemons and lime come winter. Funny story... Our Captain Jones likes plums, too. I mean, he really likes them and will suck them down in...
